该别墅位于荷兰中心城市范非亚嫩边界地带。该地西南部的景观华丽并且未曾开发修建。美丽的景观，开阔地上一排排的树木，这是荷兰乌德勒支特有的景观。这个地块的一个限制性条件是，水槽高度限制在4米，并且结构以乡村建筑结构为主。以荷兰传统材料和方式构建一座乡村住宅，尽管该住宅有一个非常明显的特征：反对和街道上其他乡村风格的建筑有着同样的模式。The house is situated on the edge of Vianen, a city in the centre of Holland. The view on the southwest side is magnificent and will remain unbuilt. The beautiful view is that of a typical Dutch landscape of open fields with lines of trees. As a limiting condition for this site the city prescribed a gutter height of 4 meter and a coun try style of building.Form and material remind traditional ways of building in the Dutch coun tryside, although the house has a distinct cha racter as opposed to the prefabricated coun try-style of the other houses in the street.
