项目基地位于城市开发区的住宅区中，周边有许多待建用地，成为了设计的天然限制。这些细碎的地块打破四周的城市肌理朝向，成为了城市环境中的一处例外。建筑师利用这点设计建筑立面，既遵循相邻建筑的水平轴线，也创造了一种节奏，有机呼应街区不规整的布局。最终形成水平与垂直方向的元素划分阳台，为建筑增添了一层新的外皮，提供了必要的私密性，创造更为温馨的氛围的同时，调节光线使其更适应公寓内的生活空间。
