场地面积：906平方米 建筑面积：160平方米 Site Area: 906 sqm Project Area: 160 sqm 这是位于一个野外沙滩上的住宅，场地遍布成熟的新西兰产红花银叶树。这些树木和它们扭曲的树枝似乎毫不客气，独霸一方，只把剩下的空间留给住宅。住宅惊人的几何造型也正是因为树儿们的“蛮横无理”，但同时住宅也有自己的招：那就是最大限度地争取垂直面积，直接冲击树顶空间。 The Pohutukawa House stands at the coastal foreshore of a wild beach on a site almost overgrown with mature Pohutukawa trees. The positions of the existing trees and their twisted limbs have been closely mapped and the house has been designed to occupy the residual space that the trees have left (beside and under the trees). The striking geometry of the house has been developed in direct response to the available residual space， while maintaining a maximum height profile that approximates the top of the tree canopy.
