在英国斯托克城中心地段，国际建筑事务所grimshaw architects设计的“公交车站”项目赢得了2010年举办的设计竞赛，现已正式向公众开放。这个城市交通枢纽位于离市中心最近的主干道上，能观赏到极佳的风景并且是疏导车流和人流的最佳位置。富有个性的金属屋顶波动起伏，标记出了建筑各个不同入口的方位。一系列V形钢柱强调了具有工业感的外立面，而质感温暖的木板条天花则与冰冷的外立面相互抵消。建筑外围装饰了多样化的斯塔福德郡青砖，搭配卡罗石灰石地面，让人联想到促进当地工业发展的煤和粘土工业。 In the center of “the potteries” - or stoke-on-trent as it is internationally recognized - global architecture practice grimshaw architects has completed the 'bus station' originally won as a competition in 2010. the urban transport hub is located on the closest arterial road to the center of the city， with competitive views of the landscape and an optimal location for the transfer of vehicles and people. the characteristic metal roof undulates to signal the various entrances into the structure. the more industrial exterior look emphasized by a series of V-shaped round steel columns is offset with a warmer timber-slat soffit. various applications of staffordshire blue brick around the perimeter of the structure coupled with the carlow limestone flooring recall the coal and clay industries that drove local industrial growth. 恩 比中中国的部分车站好看点 挺好的，下不了是吧
