This allows the circulation all over the building perimeter. As the roof has the same horizontal projection as the schist stone plinth， it allows the partial shading of the habitable area， working as a horizontal solar protection. The chimney breaking through the roof works at the same time as a fire place chimney and an entrance for zenithal light into the living room making this a place of “comfort”.
