这是由zeitgeist设计的牧场住宅，位于美国旧金山的贝尔蒙丘陵。这里的房屋为20世纪中叶的建筑师弗洛里安SPEIER和马提亚troitzsch的设计风格。1100平方尺的宽敞空间可以满足更多的生活需求和娱乐需求。进入房子后，是一个广阔的全景平台，这里的大型固定窗可以俯瞰整个室外风景，门口的室外地台可供接待访客。外墙和屋顶使用了宝石的外观，将上世纪中叶的建筑风格与现代化建筑风格相互融合。另外，传统的车顶线条与现有的屋顶链接起来，距地面17英尺，就想是一个巨大的“翅膀”，在“翅膀下是一个敞开的客厅和厨房区”。  译者： 砖头  nestled in the hills of belmont in california ‘the kumar residence’ by german born, san francisco-based architects florian speier and matthias troitzsch from zeitgeist design is a remodel of an existing 1950′s mid-century modern ranch house. the 1100 square foot addition responded to the building’s requirements of more living, entertaining and bedroom spaces. upon entering the house the visitor is greeted with an expansive panorama across the san francisco bay – large fixed windows line the deck overlooking the outdoor landscape. the facade and roof is entirely clad in pre-weathered zinc panels, the existing overhangs are trimmed off to create the look of a faceted jewel. the traditional roof lines of the existing structure are integrated into the modern addition, which helot to fill the house with light. the existing low pitch roof was lifted up to 17 feet at the east side like a giant wing – this helped to open the new living and kitchen area to the exterior.
