这个住宅位于圣淘沙岛上一个新的住宅区内，紧邻新加坡。场地不大，周围建筑都紧密相连。这个住宅的设计策略是建造结实的墙面，使其与周围邻里相连，以阻挡他们的视野，保护住户的隐私，同时创造中央光井和楼梯结构，使海风能够贯穿整个住宅。设计目的是为每层提供一个楼顶花园，形成层次效应，使每层都有独立单层的感觉。

This house is located on a new housing estate on the island of Sentosa adjacent to Singapore. The plots are not large and neighboring buildings are built close to the sides of each house. Thus our strategy was to build a solid wall to each side neighbor to provide privacy where possible， while creating a central light and stair well which would funnel the sea breeze through the centre of the building.
