设计旨在创造一个具备良好空气流通，自然照明的住宅。住宅的主要结构是朝向后侧的，以形成巨大的后花园，建筑的所有开口也因此冲向后面，享受绝佳视野的同时避免阳光直晒。内部院落的空气流通是通过客房与主卧之间的楼层高度差产生的。它们之间的空隙使流畅的空气能够一直蔓延到后花园区。这个设计还受到场地的支持，因为此地稍稍有些倾斜，它帮助空气流向内部院落。

The initial idea in designing this residence is to create a house with good air circulation and natural lighting within its site， which is quite long compared to its surface appearance. The dimensions of the main building are made to extend towards the back to create a considerably large garden as a private view where it is located on the east of the building. Therefore， all the building’s openings are directed towards the garden to avoid heat from the sun， coming from the west in the evening. The intention of creating airflow to the inner courtyard was achieved by making use of the level difference between the guest room and the master room. With the gap between them， it was possible to create a flow of constant air towards the garden section of the building. The idea is also supported by the landscape， which is slightly slanted， as a way for the air to enter the inner courtyard.
