The house occupies a long platform supported by stone retaining walls within a property on a hill above the town. The volume located at one end ol this platform opposite the main entry to the site is organised on two floors. The white construction leans against the wooded hillside and opens to the south in terraces and verandas overlooking the city. The spatial complexity of the ground floor is generated by an interplay of mass elements, large horizontal openings, and multiple light sources. A pool prolongs the built form and articulates a pathway between the rock outcropping of the hill and the north facade entryway.
