这个住宅身处一个茂密的热带雨林里，建筑如何在这样的场地内展现自己，如何在这样的环境下故意表现自己是一个建造的物体，这是一个难题。设计师因此将建筑抬高于地面，以与周围环境紧密联系，室外的水平线条明显突出，与众不同，但垂直线条则试图消失在森林之中。住宅的支柱粗大结实，如同森林中树木的树桩。


The same projective logic is present in the Casa BR. Similar to the Lina´s project， the house is removed from the ground to approximate its surroundings， its exterior and， as in the “Casa de Vidro”， the horizontal lines created are very visually distinct while the vertical ones have the intention of disappearing into the land. The pillars of Casa BR are not lean， but thick， like the trunks of the great trees in the rain forest.
