住宅与背后山体的垂直感，以及与远处海平面的关系定义了这个项目。它呈现出简单的形状和紧凑的前立面，设计抛弃双重立面，融合建筑结构和地面，使住宅如同拔地而起的石头。住宅包括两个相切的体量，即两个住宅单元，它们相互分离，形成较大面积的暴露，但它们将一个内部的花园半掩。

The relation with the verticality of the mountain at the back of the house and with the sea horizon in the far distance represents the generating element of the development of the volumes. Their simple shapes and the compact horizontal fronts express， by refusing the doubled elevation， an architecture which proposes an actual integration between what is built and the ground and takes roots thus recalling the idea of chunks of rock broken off the flank of the mountain.
