建筑设计：kurt krueger  这是由kurt krueger翻新设计的上世纪中叶CA别墅，这座大别墅名为“基尔萨奇号住宅”，建于1968年，当时由洛杉矶设计师库尔特·克鲁格，当时该别墅有一个很特别的名字——森林别墅，是美国加利福尼亚的一个旅游景点。建筑师经过几十年，终于将这个别墅建成，之后几任房主不断对其房屋经行翻新，如：改造了工作室、翻新了办公室、额外创建了一个卧室。kurt krueger来这里的首要任务就是要恢复它最初的面貌并在其基础上进行合理的创造，将三个局域分割明确：办公室,阁楼和起居室。在翻新的过程中，设计师发现了众多可以发挥的因素，如：在天花板上涂上丰富的天蓝色，这使得住户心静平和。并将起居室与厨房打通，使房间显得更宽大。原有的橱柜木材已经腐朽，翻新后将桃花木重新重新制作，餐厅的木质木柜也会抛光，并决定使用复古的风格，将时光拉回到上世纪六十年代。在外部的装饰用木材栏杆和金属网，并配有一个电缆铁路系统。供住户夜晚娱乐。  译者： 砖头  the 'kearsarge residence' is a major renovation of the 1968 M.G. residence by the romanian-american mid-century modernist architect haralamb H. georgescu, by los angeles-based architect, kurt krueger. located on a flag lot in brentwood, california, the site has a unique character as a forest within the city. the architect began working on the house after decades of wear and tear and multiple modifications by subsequent owners. for example, the open sight lines that are characteristic of georgescu’s work were interrupted by a renovation which closes off the office wall to create an additional bedroom. one of the first tasks was removing this partition to restore it’s original intent -- interaction between three levels: the office, loft and living room. in the process of peeling back layers of the existing building during construction, the designers discovered that the ceiling of the main space had a rich blue-grey tone that was simply painted over in white. with the uncovering of more elements, it was determined that the original architect extended this colored plane from from the living room to the the exterior soffits, creating an indoor-outdoor effect when standing in the space. taking cues from the the original cabinetry, all casework was re-created in mahogany wood. the dining room millwork was restored to the original details while most other areas used more contemporary detailing, but within the same language as the 1960s design. on the outside, deteriorated decking was replaced with ipe wood while the balusters and metal mesh were replaced with steel posts and a cable rail system. under the guardrail cap, an led rope light gives a pleasant glow to the deck for evening and night time entertaining.
