业主试图获得这样一种感觉：将这座中世纪的住宅最后饭修成一座舒适的农场别墅。作为一个冬季住宅，它要被用来度过棕榈泉寒冷的冬天季节，因此业主要求室内外的空间关系处理的天衣无缝。  The client sought to gain a sense of informality and ultimately to convert this mid-century house into a comfortable ranch home. As a winter home， to be used during Palm Springs' "cool" season， the client requested that there be a seamless relationship between the indoors and outdoors.
