普利兹克获奖建筑师安藤忠雄分享了他首座曼哈顿设计项目，该项目是伊丽莎白街152号公寓楼，位于曼哈顿Nolita区，开发商为当地的sumaida + khurana公司。该建筑巧妙地结合了水、金属、玻璃、绿化和混凝土。建筑外观使用了光滑的清水混凝土，并裹以大片玻璃窗开口。该项目坐落于曼哈顿下城人流密集的拐角处，建筑共七层，看起来就像是混凝土基座之上的水晶盒。这个高端项目在室内也延续了其复杂而细致的建筑美学，室内设计主要由gabellini sheppard associates负责。每一层就是一套公寓，每间公寓均为定制设计，在各个空间设计方面均体现其温馨、优雅而细致的细节。布局方面以开放式为主，减少内部空间分隔，同时保留一定的隐私性。此外，住户和游客将通过落地水幕墙体验一天中光影的变化，并在南立面设置大型生活绿墙。译者：艾比 pritzer prize winning architect tadao ando has fully released his vision for the design of his first manhattan condominium ‘152 elizabeth‘ in the nolita neighborhood, developed by local firm sumaida + khurana. the building skillfully blends the use of water, metal, glass, greenery and concrete. the exterior itself is comprised of smooth, poured concrete and wrapped in large, voluminous glass openings. sitting on a corner plot in the energetic, lower-manhattan location, the concept was for the seven storey structure to emerge like a crystalline box out of its concrete base. the high-end project continues its sophisticated and discreet aesthetics internally, where gabellini sheppard associates were charged with designing the interiors. every floor will be occupied with one apartment, each residence bespoke, and crafted to evoke warmth, elegance with meticulous detail to every aspect of the space. cultivating an open approach to plan and feeling, the interiors eschews from spatial division but at the same time, still encourages a sense of privacy. urthermore, inhabitants and visitors will get to experience the play of shadow created by a floor-to-ceiling water wall featuring grooved lass panels that diffused natural light. along with a prominent living green wall that will span the entire southern façade, 152 elizabeth will be an example of mindful architecture that blends refinement and masterly construction- characteristic to the japanese architect’s designs.‘wherever i am building, i think about how to create a space, in a particular time, that can both only exist and be understood in that particular location.’ – tadao ando
