面向城市，喜迎宾客，SO-AP建筑事务所的设计方案旨在让克莱德活动中心成为索菲亚市一个新的地标建筑。方案的目标是所设计的建筑达到广大观众的期望值，他们喜欢挑战，渴望使用是一个集运动、休息于一身的多功能场所，同时也可以欣赏城市和周边的风景。地下规划、两个新的购物中心以及未来克莱德活动中心的到来将使这块地方成为索菲亚市的黄金宝地之一。因此，设计师们想让广大体育迷观众和寻求刺激的狂热者看到这座体育中心，感受到强烈的身份感。工程选址在市区和公园的交叉点。设备简洁实用，以便把技术设备和经济效益的最佳方法整合在一起，这样的设备试图表现自然与城市、内部（个性/财富）和外部（身体/机器）的双重性。身体是一部每个人都想要发展的机器，可以表现性格的力量和个人财富。工程师把设备看成是一架简单机器，帮助提供卓越、推动人体极限。提案的建筑雄伟简洁。大楼的确从地面建起，可以让街道的空间穿过大厅，直到公园内。项目的特点代表了城市与公园的交汇地。因此，大楼的一二楼整合在一起，还有一个温室。一楼是多功能大厅，攀岩区和衣帽间被看作是唱的交通道路，为这两处服务。三层有屋顶酒吧和“墙托邦”管理板。从屋顶酒吧可以看到绿房、攀岩墙、乐托邦、公园和远处的维托莎。在四层，所有墙托邦的办公室都共用一个广阔空间，被中间的楼台照亮，可以看到乐托邦、温室、攀岩墙等等。地下室含有85个停车位和建筑的大多数技术设备。大楼东面底部的服务区可到达停车场。它同时还是餐厅的送货区，也是消防员进入楼内的第二个入口。.工程有一个高1.5米的不同组合的表面舱：一个不透明的钢铁舱，包括绝缘板、一个部分由穿孔金属构成的半遮蔽的光滑舱。这个系统可以减少制作成本，也是一个简易设施。它参与楼内的温度调控，让表面富有活力。考虑到环境情况——索菲亚气候环境、选址结构——结构限制让设计师设计了一座简洁的表面半透明的大楼。由于含有大量工程，工程师采用了混凝土结构和低矮加粗的横梁。温室在大楼的温度舒适方面起到了关键作用，因为绿房是一个缓冲区和温度控制室。
By creating a space which is open onto the city and welcoming for visitors， the proposal for the Collider Activity Center by SO-AP Architects intends to be a place of importance in the city of Sofia. The objective is to propose a building designed to meet the expectations of a wide audience motivated by the challenge and keen on using a place offering multiple combinations of sports and rest， while being able to enjoy views on the city and its surroundings. The arrival of the underground， the two new shopping malls and the future creation of the Collider Activity Center will make this site a place of importance in the city of Sofia. Consequently， we wanted to give visibility and a strong identity to this sports center aimed at a wide audience of sports fans and enthusiasts for big thrills.The project site is treated as a site at the crossroads of the park and the city. While compact and pragmatic in order to integrate the best solutions in terms of technical facilities and economics， this equipment seeks to express the duality between nature and urbanity， between the heart (personality / wealth) and the envelope (body / machine). The body is a machine that everyone tries to develop in order to express the richness and the strength of his/her personality. We see the equipment as a simple machine that helps to provide the extraordinary and to push one’s physical limits.The building that we propose is imposing and compact. It literally gets off the ground floor to allow the street space going through the lobby and to arrive into the park. The characteristic feature of the project symbolizes the place where the city meets the park. The result is a place which is integrated with the second floor and includes the green house. This space is a real public space that allows the visitors to contemplate the different programs of the building， while offering a lookout over the city and the Vitosha. The programs are built around this space while opening onto the surrounding landscape. This space is a true attractive lung for this project.Thfirst level is a multifunctional hall， and the high climbing area and locker rooms are treated as a long traffic lane serving these two elements of the program..At the 3rd level we find the roof top bar and the management board of Walltopia. The roof top bar offers views on the green house， its climbing wall， Funtopia， the park and beyond them on the Vitosha. At the 4th level， all the offices of Walltopia share a large space illuminated by a patio in its center with views on the Funtopia， the green house， the climbing wall etc… The basement includes 85 parking spaces and most of the technical facilities of the project. The parking is accessible from the service area at the bottom of the eastern facade of the building. It also serves as a delivery area for the restaurant and is a second access for the firefighters.The project is handled with a facade module of 1.50m with three different combinations: An opaque steel module including an insulation， a glazed module， and a glazed module with a partial shadowing part made of perforated metal. This system allows having a low cost production and an easy implementation on site. It participates to the thermal management of the building and gives life to the facade.Taking into account the contextual information – climatic conditions in Sofia and site configuration - the structural constraints led us to design a compact building， with partially opaque facades. We work with a concrete structure because of its numerous properties and with low heightened beams. The Green House plays an important role in the thermal comfort of the building， because it functions as a buffer space and a thermal controller.
