日本建筑师daisuke sugawara所设计的Kiritoushi是一处独户住宅，其位于在日本的城乡结合处。其命名的灵感源于一个简单的有着倒转形体的外墙，外部的木结构很适用于当下的郊区环境，并打破了一种进入家中的概念。棱角分明的设计刻画出了一种大型中心社交空间并被许多私密空间所环绕。不同规模的入口把室内空间与外界的绿地连接起来，打造了一种循环交叉的理念，同时照明灯槽的理念很好地完善了通风系统以及间接温度控制设备。

'kiritoushi' is a single family residence located on the threshold between an older suburban development and rural fields. designed by japenese architect daisuke sugawara， the name is derived from the inversely sculpted forms from within a simple exterior shell -- an excavation  ('kiritoushi') that reveals the sequence of space on a range of scales. the outer form helps the timber structure to fit within its suburban context， a concept that is broken immediately upon entering the home. angular cuts carve a large central social space surrounded by more private program. openings of varying dimensions connect the interior spaces to the green fields outside， setting up crossing datums of circulation and light-tunnels ideal for effective ventilation and indirect temperature control.
