设计师Rem koolhaas刚刚加入到大规模的迈阿密海边建筑项目中来，这个项目及艺术、文化以及居住于一体。这其中一部分的努力要归功于阿根廷开发商alan faena，把这里打造成了迈阿密的国际化创意中心，新区的艺术中心同时也是faena集市和公园，这里还被复制成为一个热带化的大都市，并成为永久性的文化财富。OMA以及库哈斯还将要在这里建造自动化停车场，融合于集市以及艺术家的驻地中心。第一阶段的发布将要在2014年后期举行。

rem koolhaas is the latest architect enlisted in the large scale development of an ocean-bordered miami beach artistic， cultural and residential project. part of an ambitious endeavor by argentine developer alan faena to create an international creative hub in miami， the new district's art center as well as the faena bazaar and park will be the vision of OMA and forge the majority of the cultural capital on the collins avenue site. after great success revitalizing the once-derelict puerta madera district of argentina into one of the most exclusive and desirable properties in the country， the model has been replicated for the tropical metropolis. koolhaas himself has reportedly commented on the choked potential of the sunny city， in part attributed to the prevalence of car-dependent suburban life. projects like the faena district aim to correct the lack of access to neighborhoods of art and culture and establish miami as a permant place of cultural wealth. the site is at the nexus of the luxurious bal harbour shops， dynamic wynwood arts district and downtown miami， the economic gateway to latin america.  koolhaas and OMA will be responsible for the an automated parking complex， a combined bazaar and artists-in-residence center and the all-important arts center. the first phase of the district will launch in late 2014
